Fancy corner building. Note how the upper front wall of the building bows. This is not
an illusion created by the camera, but is the actuall shape of the structure.
It is not uncommon for buildings to have odd angles and bowed walls. Also note the two
peaks do not have the same beam pattern.

A closeup of corner jettying, or overhang. Note that
since both the front and the side overhang, the supporting corner post needs to
be large to carry the overhanging weight. This also makes the joinery intricate.
Also visible in this photograph are the window details.
Note the rectangular shape of the panes, instead of the more familiar diamond pattern.

One side of Broad Street in Ludlow, Shropsire, England. What's interesting about this
picture is the buildings to the left (camera right) of the fancy building. None of them
exhibit fancy angles of beams, roof, or the severity of architecture that the others do (although one
of them has box windows on the second floor). This style of restrained building is what
we are attempting to portray.
